Who writes this, and how the numbers are made
Wiigen Console is written by Ahsan. One person, no review team, no press pool access, no early units, and nothing sent free by a manufacturer. If that ever changes it will be said on the page it affects, in the first paragraph, not buried in a footer.
The tools are a model, not a test bench
This is the part most sites are vague about, so it is stated plainly here. The build calculator, the FPS estimator, the parts comparison and the game checker do not report measurements taken in this room. There is no lab here. Every figure they produce comes from a model built on published benchmark data and manufacturer specifications.
That is why the tools give you ranges rather than single numbers, and tier scores rather than raw benchmark results. A tier score is a relative position between parts. It stays useful for longer than an absolute figure, and it is honest about being an approximation.
What the numbers can and cannot tell you
They are good for the question most people actually have: is this part roughly the right match for that part, at this resolution, for this kind of game. They will get you to the right tier and the right price band.
They are not good for anything that needs precision. Do not use a figure from this site to decide between two cards that land within a few percent of each other, and do not quote one as a measured result, because it is not one. Your real frame rate depends on your specific game build, driver version, settings, background load and thermals, and no model accounts for all of that.
The dataset currently covers 24 graphics cards, 16 processors and 31 games. Price bands are estimate ranges for the US market and move constantly, so treat the date on each page as the date the figure was last reviewed, not a guarantee it is still accurate today.
What is not here yet
There are no hands-on measurements on this site yet — no frame-rate captures, no thermal logs, no teardowns. Hardware gets added to the model as the published data for it becomes solid, not as it is announced, which is why this site will never have a launch-day review. When first-hand testing does start, the method will be written up here before the first result is published, and measured figures will be labelled as measured so you can tell them apart from modelled ones.
What gets disclosed
Nothing on this site is a paid placement, and no company has been given a say in what appears here. Where a link earns a commission, that is marked on the page it appears on — the affiliate disclosure explains how that works and what it does not change.
Corrections
Errors get fixed in place, with a dated note at the bottom of the page saying what changed and when. Pages are not silently edited. If something here is wrong — especially a number — say so; corrections are the fastest way this dataset gets better.
Ahsan
Ahsan runs Wiigen Console on his own. He builds and maintains the hardware model behind the site's tools and writes everything published here. No review team, no sponsors, and no hardware sent free.
